Fell in love with this place! Very affordable for a heck of a lot of fun and memories. We paid $10/adult (2 adults), $20/rental car (we didn’t want to use our cars), & $5/feed (2 bags of feed) — totaling out to be $53 with tax.
We enjoyed that we had control of our time in the safari and saw so many animals. They were ALL nice and well mannered. I would definitely recommend bringing some water to stay hydrated and watch out for the animals when you are pulling off.
We also enjoyed their petting zoo!! Animals were very sweet.
Enjoy some of our pictures!! Will definitely come back with family and friends.
This place is AWESOME! Super fair priced. For 2 adults and 1 kid the drive thru safari, the budgie cage and 2 bags of food was less than $50. Definitely well worth it. The animals are super friendly and hilarious to interact with. You definitely won't leave without a few laughs. The ostriches are the funniest when feeding. It's a great attraction in Hartwell. I'm eager it see it continue to grow! We will definitely be back!
Amazing! We had the best time! Mr. Joe drove our bus through to feed the animals ... he was entertaining, knowledgeable, and told us things we wouldn't have known if we'd gone through in our own vehicle. My recommendation is to buy 2 bags of feed for each person in your party so that you have plenty to share with the animals! You have so much fun feeding them that you don't realize how quickly you are going through the pellets. Great time ... we will definitely be back!
This is an amazing place to go for all ages. Everyone left with a smile! Prices are cheap, $10 for adults, and children from 2 to 12 are $5. I would highly recommend renting one of their vehicles, which are only $20. We loved the newly added Budgie Experience. Feeding the parakeets was great.
Wonderful family adventure! Our grandsons loved it! Lots of hungry friendly animals. The parakeets were a great bonus! We will definitely visit again😁
Our group had an enjoyable experience seeing the animals. A couple of things for first-time visitors: the ramp leading to the gift (ticket) shop is steep and may be challenging for handicap guests. There is only ONE unisex bathroom. (No restaurants or gas stations nearby either, so plan accordingly.) There is only one way driving through the park with no opportunity to pass those ahead should you want or need to keep moving along. The entry price is reasonable. The animals look cared for.
I decided it was worth the hour and a half trip that it would take to see if it was as good as it appeared. I was absolutely NOT disappointed! The staff are kind, informative friendly and had enthusiasm for their job. The animals are well cared for and loved. They have several different options for taking the tour. One included a bus or using one of their rental cars (which I highly suggest). You also have the option of using your own vehicle. This is an excellent choice if you would like animal slobber all in your vehicle as the animals come right up to you. The person that created this park, definitely had a love of animals in mind. I cannot wait to go back!
We had so much fun! We laughed so much at the nice animals and everyones reaction to them. I definitely recommend renting the vehicle as it allowed me a much more relaxed time not worrying about damage to my car. We also loved the budgie experience, well worth the price. We will be back, I would love to bring a bunch of friends and rent the bus.
